For the return of Ma Cherie Dancewear online purchases, regardless of whether they are faulty, or incorrect fit, you must meet the following return policy conditions:
The item/s must be returned within 21 days of receipt
The item/s must be unworn and unwashed in original saleable condition with all labels/tags attached
The items must be returned in its original packaging.
Gift Cards are non refundable.
Special orders (including pointe shoes) and shoes that have been worn with dirty bare feet that are scuffed, soiled, danced in, had ribbons or elastic attached, or have had the ends of the drawstring pulled through will not be accepted.
Sale items cannot be exchanged or refunded unless Ma Cherie Dancewear has determined that they are faulty.
We reserve the right to inspect garments and shoes to determine the return policy conditions are met. If the goods arrive in the appropriate condition with original packaging and labels/tags still attached, a refund of the cost of the goods will be provided** For pointe shoe refunds, please see below conditions.
Any refund will automatically be issued to the card used to make the original purchase. We do not refund shipping charges.
Pointe Shoe Returns:
Pointe shoes are not exchangeable or refundable if you choose to order a size without a fitting by Ma Cherie Dancewear, either online or in person.
All pointe shoes are thoroughly checked for damage or defects before they are sent. It is your responsibility to recheck them upon receipt and to notify us immediately if there is any damage or defects to the shoes as soon as they are received. We do not refund shoes due to a change of mind. To be eligible for a refund you must obtain from Ma Cherie Dancewear in writing a request to return the shoes due to our agreement that the shoes do not fit. Please do not send the shoes back to us until we request for them to be sent back. Shoes are not refundable if they are returned to us without a live online zoom fitting. Shoes are nonrefundable if they are returned worn, sewn, damaged, soiled, or tried on with bare feet. You must take a picture of the shoe's ID (inside the shoe, below the sizing tag) prior to sending the shoes back to us, in case we advise you that there is no refund due to damage. Each shoe has its own unique ID code and there is no possibility that we could send you images denying refund because we mixed the shoes up with someone else's.
As we can not recoup these costs, please note that pointe shoe shipping costs will be deducted from your refund on the shoes.
Due to hygiene reasons, unfortunately we do not accept returns or exchanges of tights or undergarments.
Due to the limited stock levels of our collections, we allow return of your item for a store credit to repurchase the correct size/style. You will not receive a credit for your shipping charges, only for products purchased.
Pointe shoes which have been fitted by us in person or online are exchangeable, as long as they have not been returned worn, sewn, damaged, soiled, or tried on with bare feet and are returned in their original, pristine condition with packaging. They are not exchangeable or refundable if you choose to order a size without a fitting by Ma Cherie Dancewear, either online or in person.
You are responsible for the costs of returning goods to us. Any goods returned to us are your responsibility until they reach our store. We will not be held liable for any goods lost or damaged in transit, therefore we recommend you use a courier or registered post through Australia Post to return the goods. Please ensure your return is correctly packaged to prevent any damage to the item/s or packaging in transit. Credit will not be provided until we receive the goods from you and these goods are undamaged.
When you receive the goods from us, you must check for any damage or faults on receipt. At this time if there is any damage or faults, you must take clear photos to substantiate this. If the photos relate to Pointe Shoes, the photos must include the unique Product ID found on the inside of the shoes. If you consider a product to be faulty you must return the goods (in their original packaging) to us by registered mail and advise us in writing why you consider the product to be defective. You must include the photos that you have taken to substantiate your claim that the goods are damaged or faulty. We reserve the right to determine whether a product is faulty and will conduct a production and quality check after the products are returned to us. A response for faulty claims will be received within 10 working days of the items arrival at the returns address. If confirmed as being faulty, a refund of the cost of the goods will be provided. In addition, the reasonable cost of returning the faulty item/s back to us will also be refunded.
If you believe your item to be faulty, please email firstname.lastname@example.org with a receipt or proof of purchase, and details of the faulty item/s, explaining why you believe the goods to be defective. You must include the photos as noted above.
Do not return the goods until you receive our acknowledgment that the goods should be returned to Ma Cherie Dancewear, Australia. Do not return the goods to the manufacturer.
