Because pointe shoes must be fitted precisely in order to provide safe, secure, and comfortable support, LYRA is available with the same numerous fitting options that have always been available from Gaynor Minden. Production is now based in Eastern Europe, and the satin sourced in Italy.

GM's Premium Weave satin, is proprietary and exclusive to Gaynor Minden. No other pointe shoe can obtain it.

LYRA comes with a vegan outer sole and the same durable suede tip that has proven overwhelmingly popular. Dancers wishing a 100% vegan shoe can order LYRA with a satin tip, the same original tip that Gaynor Minden has been making since 1993.
